Why on Earth does someone need this?

Has anyone seen this new Glade plug-in that's a 'light show'? Apparently it changes color while plugged in. What is the benefit of that? An air freshener is supposed to make a room SMELL good, not light it up. Period. End of story.

And you can only see it change color when the lights are off. And if the lights are off that usually means that you are not in the room. Or you are sleeping. In which case, the constant changing of the lights is distracting and annoying.

And the commercial for this product is stupid. And the thing costs $11.99. Whatev.

Further research into this ridiculous product shows that it's geared toward teens. Yeah, cause teens really care about air fresheners. Unless they are marketing toward pot smoking, acid dropping teens who wish to cover up smells and get trippy with the light show, this product is useless.

michelle, i'm with you. i saw this the other day, and thought the same thing. but i also hate that product that is plays CD's that smell good - what?! get a candle, get a CD player, no need to mix the two "just because we can". that's what this product is an example of. or an over-caffeinated think-tank meeting where the boss at Glade put everyone under the gun to come up with something good....and 8 hours later, this is what we see. someone is laughing as they sip their mai-tai on the beach over this crappy product that we could all live without!!!

I think it's hard enough getting teens to wear deorderant - changes are they're not big into make rooms smell good.

These are stupid, don't like them at all!!

I did however buy these air freshners that you plug into the wall and when you turn off the light they are a night light! Very cool and make sense! They have oil in them and smell SO good. I got fresh cotton and lavendar. I think they are glade, but can not remember right now - but as for air freshners with lights, mine make sense...these don't!

Malissa - yes, those scent stories are beyond dumb! Sigh. Glade needs to chill out and just work on producing new smells, not on introducing new, assanine products. Sigh, I'll write a letter.

Jenn - the nightlight I can understand. It's small, it's helpful. This is like a whole big display on the wall. And it CHANGES COLOR. The more I think about it, the more angry I get.

Wow, it's amazing how you can get "angry" thinking about an air freshener. Did anyone ever think of small children when they were bitching about an air freshener? Little kids like things like this, it relaxes them. Honestly, lets grow up. As for air fresheners targeting pot smoking, acid dropping teens who wish to cover up smells and get trippy with a light show? Pretty lame if you ask me. Maybe, teens these days are clean? I'm guessing you liked your room to smell, if you're anti air freshener? You people need to think about what you are saying and how ignorant you sound.
